3rd ESO Students Experience German Carnival Through the Puderbach–Carlet Exchange Program
Last February, ten 3rd ESO students from Devesa School Carlet took part in an unforgettable experience in Germany as part of the Puderbach–Carlet exchange program.
During their stay, they were able to experience the Cologne Carnival firsthand, one of the most important and traditional festivities in the country. It was a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in German culture and share memorable moments with their host families and partners.

The program included a wide range of academic, cultural, sports, and gastronomic activities. Students visited the city of Cologne, its zoo, and its historic center, and even climbed the iconic cathedral to enjoy the impressive views over the city. They also strolled through the old town of Koblenz and enjoyed a fun ice‑skating day in Neuwied.
One of the most special moments was the costume day at the German school, where they took part in sports tournaments and traditional dances, fully integrating into the Carnival celebration.

Without a doubt, it was an enriching experience both academically and personally. Now, the educational community eagerly awaits the visit of the German students in May, ready to return the hospitality received and continue strengthening the bond between both schools.
